hi guy its really hot here in melb 42oC+ and my m6r asus that I have had for 18 trouble free months hates the heat it turns off. this unit runns all day etc. any reasons or cures its not oveer clocked etc as it came from the box. should I look at warranty.

I think many notebooks are doing this in Melb's excessive heat at the moment
Just point a small desk fan at it and you'll be right, or look into a notebook cooling pad.JB |

make sure the processor intake can get fresh air, and set power mode to somthing like game where cpu is dropped back in speed
air intake is bottom right btw

I dont think you should have to do that - go with warranty
