Heatsink: Alpha PAL8045 http://au.store.yahoo.com/davidandka...alheatnof.html

Fan: Papst 8412NGL http://www.lownoisepc.com/

It's really quiet
Just make sure the heatsink can fit your motherboard, as it is 80mm square.

Except that fan is a PAPST-8412NH (3600rpm), which is a fair bit louder than the Papst 8412NGL (1500rpm).

I'd suggest the Thermalright AX-7 with a 80mm Sunon 50cfm (KD1208PTBX-6A)...

There are zalman HSF's that will cool a xp2000 nicely,

the 6000alcu ($65)
or the 6000cu ($80)
or the 5005cu ($80)

and quite a bit cheaper than $130

Try the Volcano 7+ w/ fan speed regulator.. On low it still does a very decent job cooling, and is about as noisy as Intel P4 heatsink...

If you are considering making your PC quiet Zalman provide more than just a heatsink to let you do it. Their Computer Noise Prevention System (CNPS) consists of parts that integrate with each other, e.g., one fan is used to cool BOTH the CPU and chipset.

Heres a post on Zalman's "CNPS"

do what i do and take the fan off and just place a mains fan over the hs.

cant hear the computer at all (except for cd drive and hdd sometimes). just the sound of a 300mm mains fan. oh so quiet. and it cools way better too. (by about 6 degrees)

50CFM Sunon is not quiet!

I'm just running the PCH237 with the Thermaltake 80mm adjustable fan on it... Does a great job...
