I saw myself starting to slip as a few pc's at work went from 24hr folding to 8hr folding (makes a big difference), but the user's needed their new PC's. I made sure when I left work yesterday I had enough left on over the weekend to help widen that narorw gap to hold onto fourth, if I am lucky I may snatch 3rd.

I will see how I am placed in tonights update. I however am not sure what others are up to in the final days & hours, but I have done all I can now from my side.

Hehe waz2005, that's like when I was at school folding, every afternoon I'd try and keep as many PCs on as possible to keep the points up, and the cleaners would turn them off and whatnot!

You need more family wing!!

Has anyone got any stats on how much this race has affected the total output of OCAU? I didn't make a note of anything 4 weeks ago but would be interested in seeing if there was much of a ramp. I didn't personally add any new boxen (yet) but know of a few new ones for team boky.

Default The penultimate update

Ok racers, it's time for the penultimate update. The top 5 remains unchanged, but flying up 4 places into sixth is OverPAQ'd!! I've been in contact with him, and the man from The Sunshine State tells me his machines have been on a diet of XXXX and Bundy, that should be able to keep them going for a while!!!! Gumby. One has also made a nice climb, moving up 3 places into P9, while thequiet1 has moved up one position into P10, welcome to the top ten!!!

Our big mover for the day is ho_k, who has moved up an amazing 74 places to P13 . ^lave has moved up 19 places to P30, while Bollocks has positioned himself for a final lunge at the line, moving up 15 places to P12. Can't wait for the final update tomorrow, this is a great race!!!!!

I've got all the stats here mate, I'll see if I can figure out how many points the race has contributed to the total output. I can tell you one thing, the net total PPD increase currently stands at just under 25k

25,000PPD is one hell of an achievement. Congrats on a great idea and an even greater race.

Default The race is over!!!!!

Alright ladies and gents, after 28 days of b0rging, overclocking, and getting those extra machines online, the race has come to a close. It is our pleasure to announce that those crazy biker's, folding under boky, have taken out the race!!!! Maj_Feltch_Monkey has taken out second, while wing has managed to hang onto third. ho_k raced 9 places up the ladder on this update to take out fourth, waz2005 has ended up in 5th place, OverPAQ'd in sixth, and flatout takes out the final prize position in seventh. Congratulations to you all!!!!

The most valuable newbie award has been a tough decision, as there are a number of racers who could've taken it out. However, there can be only one winner, and it has been decided that the most valuable newbie is Gumby.One. Well done!!!! . Other notable mentions in this category are team boky, you bikers really know how to pile on the points, and thequiet1.

We would like to congratulate all racers on their efforts in this race. Over the race period, you have produced 2.2 million points for OCAU. And just for the record, this race has resulted in an extra 410 000 points produced for OCAU. So well done everyone, that is an awesome effort!!!!

Finally, we'd like to thank everyone that has helped in organising and running this race. Thanks go to Bollocks for helping out with stats stuff, EH_Holden_1964, FearTec, and OverPAQ'd for donating prizes to the race, and to TeamXFAU members Ellroy80, Pyro, karsa, kitwalker and CaeSiuM-X, who helped with stats collection, prize donation, and decision making. A special thanks goes to TheQuackMyster, who setup the stats pages which made it possible for the stats to be easily updated on a daily basis, and hosted the pages for us (through Toast WebHosting http://www.toast.net.au).

Once again, thanks to everyone for an awesome race!!! Fold on!!!!

Summary:

1st - Boky
2nd - Maj_Feltch_Monkey
3rd - wing
4th - ho_k
5th - waz2005
6th - OverPAQ'd
7th - flatout

MVN - Gumby.One
