Just dropped my laptop....

this thing is a tank (the laptop in my sig)

I'm in a lecture atm (UQ, 3-207 i think) and the desks have one hinge that they rotate around on. they fold forwards. So i'm sitting here browsing OCAU, decide i'm hungry. lean over to get some food.. look up and watch it slowly move forward.. and then the laptop slides off.. crash tinkle-clack! pick it up again and post this message.

good olde 4kg brick of a laptop. so robust. everything's in full working order!

well if you're as careless as myself...

i always thought laptops though to me much more fragile??? this poor laptop has had a great deal of punishment as far as i can tell and it's still soldiering on as strong as ever..

I'm not careless, btw, and that was just unfortunate. it's on my lap now. yes i can still have children.
