Default Double Sized PCMCIA Card.

Hi guys,

Ive got a PCMCIA card here for work which is used to give me network access to a modbus plus network. i.e its a network interface adaptor for a modbus plus network.

The card is a double sized (double slot) one and can only fit in laptops with dual slots. The company recently gave me a new laptop which has only one slot.

Is there any solution to this proble? Does anyone know od an adaptor that can be used to connect double sized cards to single slot laptops?

I appreciate your help.

If the card is for work, and you have a company laptop, ask your IT Department if they know of an adaptor. Or request to get a laptop with dual slots.

I have spoken to the IT department and they have said they will look for a 3rd party solution. I understand that they might have more important things to do and I need to get this card workin soon. So I just wanted to know if a solution exists and then perhaps I can purchase it myself and the company can re-imburse me later.
I dont think we can buy another laptop coz we have a deal going with DELL and everyones laptops are Dells.

Sadly, this group now seems to be feeling pressure to change."
I drive a stock R33 non turbo automatic Skyline - 120kW at the wheels!
