Default renting video game consoles?

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone knew a place I could visit (in Melbourne) to rent a gamecube console? I remember many video rental places used to rent out game consoles but I tried ringing up Video Ezy and they don't rent them anymore.
Thanks for any help

seen playstations and xboxes being rented at video stores but never a gamecube. For the price they would charge you could probably pick one up second hand

I wouldn't mind being able to hire a 360 somewhere to try before I buy.

Are you saying you would rent out the 360?

I haven't even seen GC games for hire at any Video Ezy or Blockbusters I have been to. JB sells em for $75 anyway.

I didn't even realise they hired out consoles still, I remember they used to hire out Super Nintendo and Mega Drives superglued into these big black plastic cases.

Video Ezy in my suburb do game console rental, I've seen it at a fair few others. They charge like $25 to hire the gamecube + controllers for one night (games extra) but you have to put down a security deposit fee of something insane.

My local Video Ezy rents 360's for $20 a night.

Pick up a phone and ring around. Not too hard.

Didn't see that. No idea if my local needs a deposit. Would probably assume they would. Way too tempting to do a runner for some of the local cretins around here otherwise.
