Enjoyed.
DoF looks good for both shots, and the B&W works well with the first. There's something about the lighting in the second shot that doesn't work for me though. IMHO a darker, and less glossy, piece of fruit (maybe that blackberry hiding there?) would have worked better than the apple (?) at the bottom of the shot. The blown out part of it distracts from the fantastic lighting/colour of the orange. |

I don't mind it on the orange though- it actually brings out the texture really well.
Its just the smooth surface of the apple where a softer light would have been preferable. Were you using external? (Looks like on board flash to me) |

External Sigma 500 Super, but it was using a 50mm lens with the flash mounted on the camera and a 4x close-up lens, so the flash was very close to the fruit.
