Default Ultra Portable Laptop - Fujitsu P1510?

Hi all,

I'm already a happy owner of a Dell Inspiron 9300, but am now looking for something that is ultra-portable and that I can take to uni with me every day without really feeling the weight/inconvenience.

Since I already have a laptop, all the new one is going to be for is occasional note-taking in lectures, and mostly internet access. I run a small online business, so I NEED to have regular access to the internet and netbanking/emails/etc for it to continue functioning well. Running to computer labs all the time is less than ideal, as is lugging my 17" monster around campus.

I've looked at the ASUS W5a series, and was almost sold, but then I saw the Lifebook P1510 which has tablet functionality (I like the idea of touch-screening most of the time) and gets excellent write-ups. I think it has all the features I'll need, and the tablet/laptop thing appeals to me. As does the exceedingly small size. Has anyone had experience with this laptop? Or are there any alternative opinions? Is this notebook going to serve all my requirements? The biggest issue I can see is the tiny warranty

The other thing that concerns me most is the Core Duo notebooks coming along soon. Should I wait?

Marty.
