Default Cronulla Big Surf (and big pics)

Well they closed the beaches cause it was too big, and Cronulla Point and Shark Island were big and the island heeeaaavy.
Heres a few from the island ( which is way too far for my 70-200 and 1.4tc but this was the best i could do...

two things cross my mind when i see surf that big and well formed

1. I wish I had learnt how to surf better and

2. I am glad I sold my board!!!!!!

nice shots by the way only wish the beach wasn't such a mission after work!

Just added a link direct to the small gallery in the 1st post.

Thanks for the comments guys. Some waves actually made the headland vibrate with the force, it was cool

Anyone want to donate a boat, or a long lens, im happy to accept either.

Hey Bionic, did you happen to see if Bellambie point was working? Would have been ineteresting there as well i reckon.

They had on the news that the waves are so big due to the cyclone off New Zealand, and should stay big till the end of the week.
