Default How to install non exe files on PDA?

Hi,

I've got a iPaq H5550.
How do I install programs with no exe file?
I've copied the files into the program files folder but it doesn't seem to work?

It's a GPS program btw.

THanks!

if its an ipaq its a pocket pc...

what file type is the installer file... i think the only type you can have is the ".cab" files.

make sure the file is built for windows CE with ARM processors...

it should install straight from the cab file... if it dosent id suggest you try free up memory cos when u install from cab files by default they will install to memory and not to a storage card but there is a work around with this i think.

What is the GPS program? Is it freeware or did you pay for it?
