Laptop DVDRW

I have a Compaq V2000 laptop with a Celeron 1.4Ghz within, and it currently uses a CD/DVD Combo Drive. Is it possible to get a DVDRW drive for the laptop, and if so, where and how do i get one? Do i need to specifically get one for a Compaq laptop or are there other branded/generic ones that will work too?
