Default Media Player for Windows Mobile problem

I've got an Imate JAM and wanted to play mpg files on the thing and installed a program called GSPlayer. It didn't work. But what's worse is that not only can't I run mpg files, it has associated all my mp3's to that program.

But what this did was de-associate all mp3 and wmv files from the stock windows media player ("WMP"). So now I can't use mp3's as ringtones.

Does anyone know of how to either re-associate WMP, or perhaps reinstall WMP for the imate JAM?

What's more, my screen is totally f**cked. It doesn't align up for crap. I once had a screen protector on and thought that was the cause of it all, but when I removed it, the problem still persists. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't. The hardest is to press the "OK" in the top right corner, or trying to use the scroll bar. This is really annoying and was wondering what my options are regarding this.

I bought the JAM from Computer Alliance less than 6 months ago.

Within the GS player program settings should be a list of assciated file types.
Uncheck the file types you want WMP to open.

Thanks for the suggestion mosoto, but the problem isn't with GSPlayer. If i unassociate mp3s with GSPlayer, WMP still can't recognise mp3s. It's like the codec has been uninstalled from WMP.

I can't even get WMP to play mp3s manually, or as a ringtone. That's my concern. So I was thinking i would either need to reinstall the mp3 codec to WMP, or reinstall WMP completely.

Ahh ok, yeah something similar happened with me some time ago.
I was getting no sound thru WMP after installing a DVD Proggy.
I think downloading and re-installing the latest WMP codecs fixed it.
