As title says, lent my usb kb to my housemate. Unplugged it later, and reset windows. We could type in the password fine, but once in windows it acted as though the Function key was permantly pressed. Actually pressing it did not affect characters.
Now in the keyboard section in Control Panel it says the keyboard is a standard MS keyboard which is what it says on my laptop, so thats all fine. It was also a lappy bought of ebay and has no driver disk. I could go spend time downloading a driver, but....Im sure there must be an easier way. I might check out BIOS. Anyone have any ideas?
