---The PSi is designed with a nearly unscratchable touch screen that will give users a virtual keyboard in which to enter internet addresses and other duties previously unavailable to PSP users. The rest of the body is constructed of matte finish plastic to eliminate the smudge-laden appearance of its glossy exteriored sibling. The " i" also gives the PSi the ability to work not just with WiFi networks but with WiBro, UMTS, EVDO, and future WiMax networks via switchable modules that correspond with each system and their sponsors... Which leads to some questions; wireless photo sharing?, peer-to-peer gaming? or possibly music, game and video downloads? One thing is for sure, without the support of UMD by the major movie studios, Sony may have to find another way to bring in profitable content.

Not sure if this should have gotten a new thread, but seems different enough from the current PSP to warrant a new one.

I wouldnt want a smaller screen, this is one thing I love about the PSP the big screen but since I got my XBOX 360 I havent touched my PSP and I was giving it a good bash every night.

I dont want to sell it thought as I think I will kick myself later

Looks like a rumour to me, masquerading as a news article.

Edit: Looking around at the rest of the site, you gotta wonder what the webmasters are thinking. There's so much BS and random crap on that site, and it's so ugly and just plain bad... what is the point?

Even if it were true, I'd still be after the bigger psp.. The only difference would be the size of the screen. It's not like the PSP has anything it can trim off it anyway.

It's a smaller handheld with a touchscreen. There ain't no world-rocking there folks. Sony are pissed that the DS is eating into their sales.

[edit] And no, I don't think it's real. I think it's complete and utter garbage, because if it was real it would be on far more reputable sites by now.

(I did think about making a Nintendo GO ui, compositing and matchmoving it onto a boardroom projector presentation...add some nice camera shake and dodgy out of focus 'bag' around the fake camera....bang, proffesso ftw

Although it would be tempting to grab a renewed PSP, there would definately be disadvantages. The main disadvantage would be they would lock this puppy up tight, no more 'homebrew'...I would stick with what I've got.
