Probably get the 2000+ and overclock it if you are strapped for cash.

obviously the faster chip will be a better performer.. it all depends how much cash you want to outlay for how much performance gain.

You will pay a premium for the higher rated processor.
To give you an example, I recently purchased an Athlon XP 1800+, for around $350. The 1700+ was going for around $320, and the 1900+ for around $525. A very small jump from 1700+ to 1800+, and then a BIG jump up to the 1900+. So I bought the 1800+, as the best value for money. I didn't pay attention to the price for the 2000+ and 2100+, but I'd guess that when comparing the performance you get for your money, they're not as economical.

Be aware the 2100+ may be VERY HARD to unlock as the bridges on some are actually sunken below the Organic body of the core...
I would buy the 2000+ Cheers, Mal |

Yep, I'd get 2000+ and put the FSB to 135-140MHz ... mild overclock but easy.
