Yup, razr and l7 are metal, nice and sturdy, l6 is plastic.

I was tossing up between paying the extra for an l7 and saving a bit on the l6.

in the end i stretched and got the k750i (was only $30 more than the l7)

well worth the $30 extra imo. moto software and ui ftl.

L7 is the right answer in this scenario, methinks. If you can spring for it.

almost non existant versus very competent

the RAZR doesnt even have expandable memory, how many songs were you expecting to fit on 5mb?

the V360 on the other hand, has expandable memory and a good java mp3 player installed.

okay well today i ran a few tests of the two adaptors with my e398 and v360

on the v360, the sound isnt very loud with either adaptor, but its VERY loud on the e398 - i had to turn it down to about level 4 to be comfortable (using sony MDR-G54L headphones to test).

something to consider - after all, the e398 was really designed with music in mind

Ok thanks dude... yeah 5mb non-expandable doesn't seem too useful wrt MP3s!

I wouldn't waste my money on a Moto if you want to listen to MP3's on your phone... actually I wouldn't waste my money on a moto full stop.

I have the ROKR. I hate that phone. The UI is slow and buggy, Itunes lags like crazy and the phone crashes alot. This is a common issue with all Motorola's from what I've heard.

Personally I'd recommend saving a bit of money and going for a Sony Ericsson. Nice design, FANTASTIC sound quality for MP3's, excellent UI, great features and decent camera in them.
