Fire in Tamworth's main street (with Photos)

I just spotted some smoke from my back porch and here are some photos.

Ooh, its a busy night in Tamworth!

Must be the talk of the town...

Sorry

But its difficult to see just from that what exactly is the source of the smoke, maybe you should go for a walk/drive?

Damnit, I missed that one - thats the second incident in that part of the main street in about 6 months

I almost thought it was fog of winter fire smoke but heard the sirens and checked, I am glad I did.

I walked down peel street before they closed it off and the cops at the other end were pissed with me for walking past.

They also questioned me as to why I was taking photos and who I was taking them for. After reading another post (re a OCAU'er having his photos deleted at Cronulla ) I was ready for any cops asking for my camera.

Yeah that was Rt!. Cops can be fuckwits sometimes with camera's.

When I was taking these (http://bnurmi.communis.com.au/copaccident/) I had a copper come up and ask me for the camera. I told him to get a warrant =p. He told me to "piss off kid"..so I did..with my camera full of pics ;p

It was the GE Finance Building and Clothes Shop.

Went past this morning - Fireies are still there mopping up. From memory there is an IT business upstairs in the building.
