Just wondered if anyone has ever tried to run Celestia or Stellarium on an Xbox running linux. Both programs are free planetarium/universe simulator style programs and have linux versions available.
They use OpenGL and was wondering if it might be possible to get them going on the xbox? Apparantly OpenGL only runs on xbox in software more... which would make things a tad slow.... unless there have been advances with hardware mode? In case you havent seen these 2 awesome programs on PC, check out: http://www.shatters.net/celestia/ http://www.stellarium.org/
