soundstorm vs x-plosion

Is it worth getting an x-plosion card for my HTPC set up if I already have soundstorm?

Well how does it sound to you? What is your speaker setup exactly?

Well if all you're doing is passing through the 5.1 signal then the soundstorm should be just fine.

I am still playing around with my speaker set up, either z5500 or a HT in a box type set up (yamaha dvxs200)
