wow + 9000igp battling

hey guys
i have a laptop, Hp pavilion zv5000
anyway it has a 9000IGP gfx card, i know thats a bit dodgy but it was cheap and works on the net. my comp upstairs hows died so i need to play wow on this laptop
my problem is that in wow, well it runs horribly on my laptop and when i play there are random flashes, seems like artifacts, of textures - trees and anything - dissapearing for a second then coming back
i was wondering if new drivers would help and if so which ones should i use cos the cat 6.5s say they dont support the 9000 only up to the 9500

im not sure what drivers it has at the moment, just the ones it came with but they are 6.14.10.6430 - not sure if that means anything
the laptop has 512mb ram and is a p4 3.0ghz
