i am trying to configure my xbox360 for network access. however, i dont want to enable simple file sharing (it works, but not secure for me)
i'd like to know what the username and password xbox360 uses to authenticate network shares, if there is a default? i have scoured numerous sources so please dont tell me to google

The 360 doesn't access shares using traditional methods. You need need to download Windows Media Connect.
