Default XPS video drivers

Just wondering what version of video drivers people are using for their xps with the 7900 gtx?

I am currently using 77.7 from laptopvideotogo.com on my Inspiron 9300 (which will be being sold to fund the xps) and thee work quite well. The XPS should be here by the end of the week.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Get the vanilla driver from the NVIDIA site. Because it's a 7900GTX Go card you need the mobile driver version. It can be found here:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_mobile_83.40.html

Make sure you know the process to remove the old drivers before you install the new ones. Use drivercleaner if you can and follow instructions in the text file that comes with it. NVIDIA recommend that you use drivercleaner to get rid of old drivers.

I always use hardware manufacturer drivers as they are always the latest ones and don't contain added bloatware.

You'll love the XPS laptop - I sure love mine!

I've posted some links to bits and pieces on my webpage so you may find that useful - including links to the latest drivers
