American PSP aussie games work?

Heya guys well im currently living and working in the caribbean and i would like to buy a PSP over here, thing is im wondering if i buy a psp over here and some games will the games i buy from aus still work?

I think they would but its always good to be certain.

And before you say use the search button, i did and secondly this net connection is really slow

works perfectly.

i have a japanese and australian PSP - games from all over the world - europe, the US, japan - work perfectly.

the PSP is totally region free for games - not UMD movies, but nobody actually cares about UMD movies so its a moot point.

sanjays right, a friend of mine has a asia vers. , another has american, we can play each others games and australian games too.
