Default Bought a Palm Life Drive

So I bought myself a Palm Life Drive a week ago and I thought I'd post so that if anyone out there is wondering what they were like I could let you know!

I personally love it. I've never owned a PDA before and although lots of threads around and about seem to get rather angry about the apparently unjustified lag, I personally can go more than 2 seconds without my patience running out and honestly haven't found it frustrating at all.

Connectivity to access an internet connection through a PC or Mac has been problematic, but I haven't really troubleshooted it yet so the verdict is still out on that one.

Best thing is obviously the massive storage space (about 3.8 GB actual) which means pics galore and some favourite albums and a bunch of ebooks, plus extra skins, games, and other applications.

Screen quality is very good, bright and clear (320x480).

Any questions and such just ask.

G'day,

My life is currently managed by my wife, and my T3, and was just curious what the battery life is like on a full charge for reasonably heavy use (ie. video/movie watching, playing music while writing documents etc). To be honest I haven't actually read much about the LifeDrive, but I'm certainly curious in a potential upgrade down the track

Thanks for the link.

Not exactly sure about the battery life, will have to try it out and will post the answer.

I had a play with a LifeDrive a few days ago. I was totally under-whelmed by the colour reproduction of its screen. it was incredibly dull. Startup time was incredibly loooong and the lag was present (and annoying if you're used to flash based PDA's).

But you have to love the 4GB HDD, for shear storage space
