Default wanting to buy a gaming + multimedia

hey guys ive been looking for a while now i have around a $2,500 to spend on a gaming + multimedia laptop ive been looking at the benq r55v15 it has a 7400 in it im not to sure how that would go in gaming do you guys have any ideas?

The 7400 will handle older games, and new ones on low resolutions and detail settings. It's not really a good gaming card. Have a look at Pioneer's offerings - in particular the DreamBook Light 822 and DreamBook Slim 825. Both can use the Radeon X1600 (which is pretty decent), and both can be upgraded with a Core2 Duo.

It should be fine for that. Native resolution with medium/high detail should give pretty decent framerates.

Look at the Asus A8JM aswell. It runs an 7600go but is otherwise pretty much identical to the DreamBook Light.

just want to add in that WoW can run on pretty low specs - even my other pc with a 64mb geforce2 mx400 can run it fine (with low settings)

i know it can but not with 40 people on your screen when your raiding and getting what 2fps coz of a 64mb card hehe
