Default SN25P freezing?

Recently built a SN25P, probably a 2 - 3 weeks old.
Seems to have passed all the stress testing I have thrown at it.

Now that its getting some general use ...I have noticed some freezing.

It could be doing nothing and the whole setup has frozen. No mouse..no keyboard ....

Its had no BSOD ..i see no errors in the log ..has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks for the sympathy

Well its almost cleared up *fingers crossed*

People probably noticed in another thread where I complained about having to drop down to 333mhz for my ddr because I couldn't run at 400mhz stably.

Well after my freezing issue I revisted that issue. Thinking perhaps that was the culprit. I bumped it back to 400mhz and PRime .etc would not run to completion.

So I bumped up the voltage to my ddr to 2.8 (as suggested in a guide at sudhian). DDR was happy and all benchmarking programs ran to completion

But that did not clear my freezing issue.

On the odd occassion that it did freeze I noticed my hard drive light stayed on.

I thought ..could it be? the dreaded SATA cable issue people have been talking about? surely not, it was rumoured somebody went and replaced all the cables. My motherboard was even version 2.

I bought some SATA cables ..hooked them up ..left it running overnight ..a few days ..still no freezing.

For the moment I am quite happy....for now.

Thought i would spell it out here in case somebody else had the same problem.

Other news ..I had to flash to latest (although version Y probably would work) to get CnQ to work.

After flashing I noticed 'restarting' from xp took longer.

Thats my tale ..i hope somebody fares the same or better.
