This is Millicent, who as far as we know is approx 2 years old and a greyhound/something larger cross.. Adopted her on sunday and she's settling into her new home nicely and very quickly.

tunagirl i know what you mean about the greyhound personality, she's a very polite, obedient and well behaved girl and the welcome home happy dance is certainly entertaining, hard to be stressed after work when you've received that greeting.

Was found wandering the street unchipped, no collar and not in the best condition, wound up at a pound then eventually (and just in time) newcastle pet rescue got hold of her.

My wife has never had or even been around dogs before and millie is shaping up to be a perfect introduction. Someone has trained her very well in the past and she's remembering it very quickly. She stops at doorways to let you through first, even the slightest no to something she's doing and she's straight back to sit beside you and we discovered "back up" (which helps as our house isn't ideal for a large dog in residence) she'll walk backwards till she's out of you way and sit down till you pass.

Millie is gorgeous! Looks like she appreciates that she landed on her feet at your place

we're both suckers for a furry face, we have 2 rescue cats she's slowly making friends with as well, will take a while tho the cats had a very bad start to life and they're both a bit special in the cranial region ::-).. i can't save them all but i can certainly spoil this one..

I couldn't recommend Fiona enough. Next time you're down there say hello to her from Rob and Jess.

Default Maisie the Pyrenean Mountain Dog

We picked up Maisie from Adelaide on October 10 and brought her home to Melbourne. She is slowly settling in. Currently sitting just at the foot of the couch sound asleep!

Well, clan Jesmol is getting a new dog, after sadly saying goodbye to Jess & Molly last month at 14.

Welcome to Oscar

Here's our dog Zorro (Maltese x Lhasa Apso) when he was about 2 or 3 months old..

He's now almost 6 months, has lost his mask and the colour has faded somewhat, and he's having his nuts cut off next week
