Default My project - Galaxy 3D with GPU block in P180 case with PICS

I just thought I might share this with you guys ...

this is 5 hours of labour ... still few small things to finish off ...

I was installing Gigabyte Galaxy 3D Kit, replaced some tubing, added Silverprop Fusion HL on my 7900GT and this all went into alrady cramped ANTEC P180.

So lets look at it ...

1. Measuring tubing :

2. Measuring Tubing 2 - with GPU mounted (this GPU block is a bitch to mount)

3. All tubing hooked up:

4. Filled the loop :

5. And this is the outcome ..

I will post some TEMP soon...

TEMP ARE BELOW NOW - bear in mind guys that this LOOP has only 1x120mm ALUMINIUM RAD !!!!

yes, it has Silverprop FUSION HL block on it - I lapped it before putting it in as it was too dirty/coroded. After lapping (thanks to Lukenzes advice) - nice and shiny

the "Scan for Artifacts" and "HDRibl" thing use CPU heavily as well ... you can see the temps to rise ...

at the moment after 11mins of Scan for artifacts its sitting at CPU 35C, GPU 41C

will leave it for 30mins , and then run 3dMark 05 and see recorded temps...

and 3D Mark 05 at default GPU speed

CPU temps go up as high as 37C and GPU does not go over 40C

not bad I think .... quite pleased with that result ...
