Default Gameboy Evolution?

I'm not sure if this is "new" news, but this is the first time i heard about it. What do you guys think? Should we be expecting this sometime this year shortly after the Wii, later, or never? Read up about it here: http://www.n-sider.com/articleview.php?articleid=296

that is the date of said article.
I'd prefer to believe that the next game boy will take its sweet arse time so that my current investments into the DS will be long preserved.
thank you and good night.

Yeah, it seems as though that article was describing the DS.

I assume there is something gameboy under those massive japanese sleeves of theirs, but with the DS kicking arse every which way, they probably don't want to bring out the 'boy.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere, a quote from a top Nintendo person, that the Gameboy would not be refreshed, updated or improved upon anytime in the near future -- that is not to say they're canning the GB, just saying its being left "as is" for the time being.

I'll try find a link.
