I believe the new cpus will be similar size to the old AMD chips. (ie 50mm sqaure cpu and my cpu head evap face is around 40mm diameter) THe heat transfer isnt as good but wouldnt really make much difference as compared to water cooling as the cpu head is so cold, the cold transfer will cool the hole cpu and surround parts of the motherboard as well

Got a slow start to the cascade, insulated the accumulators on each compressor. Brazed the plate hx and pressure tested it no leaks. Also checked the high pressure cut off and hot gas bypass solenoid to make sure no leaks before brazing system together.
Big thanxs to duniek for the foam inserts for my cpu heads as a result don’t need to use the circlips, now need to get some more enclosures machined to accommodate the foam inserts ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

my i ask what the go is with these cascade setups? its not as cold as ln2 and you cant run it 24/7? if its just for records isn't ln2 the way to go? i guess you could run it 24/7, but im guessing thats alot of kw/h, please excuse any ignorance on my part lol
