Default GP2X owners

Anyone else a GP2X owner out there? I know I am and it's a great piece of hardware www.gp2x.com or http://wiki.gp2x..org for details if you have no idea what I'm on about.

im looking to pick one up when i get some decent income per week. The fact that it can play music/movies/images/ebooks/all console games from the atari to the ps1.. its a definite winner. It can also do tv-out, and the fact that it runs on linux... if it doesnt work.. code it yourself

Default Wow i'm a slack poster

The video playback is good. The only problems I've ever had is with really high res .avi's but thats nothing a little transcoding won't fix. I really like mine much wider section of games (PSX emulator is finished now so most PSX games play perfectly) and better battery life than PSP and DS.

It's certainly a very cool device.

Unfortunately though, I simply don't think I'd have a use for one, though the idea of a portable PSX is certainly an interesting one...

Its only downfall, from my limited reading, is that it doesn't appear to have built-in wireless, or any type of network connectivity at all, aside from IP over USB.

Built-in 802.11b would really make this the perfect tool, even if it did bump up the price by $10-$20.

I wonder what the functionality differences are between a GP2x and a DS running DS Linux?

There's an online shop here in AUS which sells them:

My GP32, which broke a few days back, is going to be replaced with one shortly. Gotta love the emulation.
