I suppose its one of those things where planning what you want to do will get the longest period out of your shuttle, I've had my SN25P for a year now, I am still able to throw a 4400 x2 s939 CPU into it and that will do me for a fair bit longer - Currently running a 3700 sandy.
Cheers Sumo

yeah i had a shuttle for ages it was a good little pc and it suprised a lot of people about how fast it was and great for lan's and games. considering you could get all that into a little pc
sn25p was to be my next upgrade to go for pcie but looking at the amdx2's becnhmarks vs conroe i changed my mind and went intel its quieter, cooler, faster and cheaper than the amd option still on the lookout for a good selection of mobos, good to get the sff pc's with everything on it. i take mine to sea with me while all the boys bring their laptops which cant play games or store lots of movies ![]() -Nathan |

i just got my hands on an Asus P5B-VM and i'm it has SATA RAID 0 and 1 on board. It's also got onboard sound, video, gigalan and firewire. I bought mine with an e6400 and 1 gig o' ram. Its a breeze to put together.
