Default VAIO PCG-GRT40ZP - Undetected Hardware HELP

Hi Guys,

I have a VAIO which I don't have a driver CD for. I've done a fresh install of Windows and it hasn't detected MODEM, Chipset or Audio drivers.

I've been to the Sony Support site and they don't have drivers listed for these devices. I SERIOUSLY need some help! If anyone has any idea's on how I'm to find drivers for these it'd be REALLY appreciated!

Sony sell the same machine but with different name in every region of the planet. All the necessary drivers are there even though it might be GRTsomething else but it will work. There's a sequence in installing them for the Sony Util's otherwise it won't work like the Fn + volume or Fn + screen brightness. Don't ask me about the sequence of which to install first...forgot about it already

When it prompts for a reboot when installing things under the Util directory, reboot.

Thanks man! That helped! You're right about the model numbers, it wasn't there, I picked a similar one and it worked a treat! Thanks heaps.

Cheers,
