Default Problem with Logitech mouse drivers on Toshiba

Hiyas, trying to map the buttons on my mx510 using the 9.8 (latest version and what came with mouse) drivers on my Toshiba P100 801. When I bring up the control panel for mouseware there is no where to map the buttons even when you enter the buttons tab.
Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it?
Reason I want to map buttons on a mouse for a laptop is that this is my machine for playing World of Warcraft on when I go out of town and want to keep it as close as possible to the setup on my desktop.
thanks
