Default Acoustic Steel Guitar - Cort guitars?

Hey guys, I'm trying to buy a beginner guitar to get started on. One guitar store I went to has a wide selection of Cort guitars among others (they look like a reputable shop, they have soooo many guitars...including tommy emmanuel guitars etc). Anyway, they recommended the Cort AD850 to get started on in my price range.

What do you guys think of it?

Prior to this, I was going to get the Yamaha F310P package, which includes a lot of other accesories. The Cort just comes with the guitar and they're about the same price.

Is it better to get a seperate guitar than a packaged guitar?

EDIT: another question - what does the figure "80/20" mean in reference to string gauge?

FYI, I ended up going with the Yamaha as I could get a better deal on it. $220 for guitar, picks, strings, gig bag, pitch pipe, strap, electronic tuner and stand.

The thinnest string is 0.020 inches, the thickest is 0.080.

Hmm...I have a pack of strings here that say 80/20, and the thinnest string is listed as 0.012 inches and the thickest is 0.053 inche

Ah, in that case it seems it refers to an 80/20 alloy composition for the winding material.
