Default Shuttle XPC X100

Oh baby, I'm so tempted to get one of these (for a file/media server).

http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/20440

Has anyone got one? (even though they pretty much just came out)

I don't have one, but it's a nice system knowing that it now supports the Core 2 Duo.

And MXM-II cards, should they become available at retail.

If this actually did come with a T2400, 250GB SATA drive, 512MB ram, Windows XP Home, Intel 3945 wireless and a DVD/CDRW drive, this would be a damn good deal at $950. Somehow though I suspect that it's a barebones and Scorptec lifted the specs from this page without reading them:

Well, i just ordered one, as scorptec take your money pretty damn quick, which means, they agree to the contract, which means, they are legally obligated to actually supply eveything they have listed... Much like the dell HDD's that happened.

Will make a good server for me.

ah, i assume, by its listing and them sending an email saying my card has been charged, that they agreed there listing of it was correct...

not that im fussed, had issues with them before and figure this is the refund they owed me

The listing clearly says what it comes with, a 512mb DDR2, 250GB sata HDD, core duo cpu etc. It has it listed for the $950 and they''ve confirmed charging my card for it...

So legally, by trading standards, regardless of their T&C's like Dells, they have to supply it all now

choice of Intel® Core™2 Duo/Duo/Solo processors,
Nowhere on the Scorptec site does it say that it comes with a CPU.

In fact, I have a mate at Scorptec and I shall ring him and ask him to confirm.

If you read the product listing yesterday, it clearly listed that it comes with a T2400. They seem to have revised it since my last post.

Yep, they revised it, i took a print out though. They charged my CC too, and now im arguing with them.

They advertised it with all these things in there, took my money, now have t actually supply it.

something i will take a day off for the small claims court for

Good deal if you get the cpu, even without, it's a decent deal for $950, X1400 mobile isn't too bad either..
