I just bought a Toshiba P100. 1.63 dual core, 100gb HD,GeForce 7300 graphics, 512 ram, 17" screen with the numerical keys. I got it for $1980 from Retravision. Battery lasts a little over an hour with heavy use. Also has wireless, bluetooth and dual layer DVD burner.

-17" screen or bigger is a must
-decent battery life -not too heavy Those things don't match up in a notebook.
