Default buying a laptop today. suggestions?

Im buying a laptop today and i've hammered out most of the things i want. so what model is best for arround $1500-$2000

Must be toshiba, im a big fan.
energy efficient processor, does not need lots of grunt.
515-1gb ram, no more
arround 40gb hdd is fine
17" screen or bigger is a must
numeric keypad preferable
decent battery life
not too heavy and not too noisy
ethernet and wireless 802

i think thats about it
suggestions?

17" screen and energy effecient isn't really on the same page I personally love the older M6 range of asus notebooks there under 2 grand but they have been superceeded by what looks like to be this http://computeralliance.com.au/parts.aspx?qryPart=7121

I just bought a Toshiba P100. 1.63 dual core, 100gb HD,GeForce 7300 graphics, 512 ram, 17" screen with the numerical keys. I got it for $1980 from Retravision. Battery lasts a little over an hour with heavy use. Also has wireless, bluetooth and dual layer DVD burner.

-17" screen or bigger is a must
-decent battery life
-not too heavy

Those things don't match up in a notebook.
