Because I will let the other "BETA TESTERS" waste their time and efforts sorting out the bugs in the 650 / 690 chipsets before I commit to it. So when the new batch of "improved" motherboards arrive, I will be ready.

rFactor works really well via Hamachi if you have a couple of friends who want to race without the need to join a server. You can add AI cars to fill the race.

Check out the Formula Nippon mod and the most recent version of Suzuka - great stuff. Also the recently released Classic Rally cars mod is really good as well.

For the V8's, there is a good version of the Symons Plains track in Tassie.

Hey guys Im thinking of getting a Logitech G25 for xmas so I can really get into this.

I was wondering if there was a steep learning curve with the wheel and I should begin on M&K first?

Getting use to the wheel is easy, getting use to the pedals will most likely take lil longer.

can someone help me with setting up the DFP? it works in windows but without force feed back and it auto centers...

I have the 4.6 WG drivers installed and when i enter the properties of the wheel (via game controller) the wheel acts like it should (FF when buttons pushed and no centering) but as soon as i exit it, it goes back to no FF and centering...

so if this is a re post but i can't find anything via search...

If your not use to using a clutch and gear stick..be prepared for a lot of "off track action" if you know what I mean.

Braking points / downshifting / clutching......it all gets a bit too hard at 300kmh.... I tried using the clutch / gearshift but found myself going back to paddle shifting..making the extra gearshift and clutch pedal obsolete.

If only they had made a version without the clutch pedal and gear shift.

Where's the best place to buy this. I can get it on Bigpond for $44 as a member, but presume they're still ripping me off??
