Damnitt, was having an awesome race then, 10th to 2nd, pushing that Ron guy who was doing high 1:05's passed him on last lap then bloody spun. To say i was dirty with myself is an understatement.
But i havnt had that much good racing for awhile. |

Being the age I am, the parents wouldn't be able to justify me spending $300 on a steering wheel unfortunately

Saw you in that packed Bathurst Server this afternoon Olle_34.
Remember that HRT car that hung around for about 7 or so laps on your arse...that was me. Great race. Why did you leave?

Sorry man can't do it tonight. Could probably setup another server tomorrow night though if there is interest.
Or alternatively we could find an empty server...but then there is the risk of "Paddock bashers" coming in and pissing on the parade.

Job cancelled because of rain? What type of work do you do?

Part time at a wholesale plant nursury. All the tracks to transport stuff is dirt so when it rains everything comes to a halt. Anyway my day ended up being a mess of chasing after people and the car breaking down in a big way.

Hm, I just bought a wheel so I could play this game - and now I'm having issues getting it working. Basically when I open up rFactor, it's getting stuck in a loop setting the Video Config. Basically I input my display settings, press ok, and it loads for a little bit and goes back to the config screen.
Now I've just recently installed Vista Ultimate - which may well be part of the problem. The only other thing that's changed in my system is the new wheel (logitech MOMO). Any ideas what it might be? I thought it might be to do with permissions on the rFactor directory, but they all appear to be alright. Edit: and I just tried reinstalling rFactor, and it worked, but only the first time, with the problem occuring again once I fired up rFactor for the second time... grr! Edit Edit: I appear to have gotten it working, it needed me to turn off user account control... a new 'feature' in Vista... Woo!
