Default Nigerian Scam or what - lol (Motion Computing M1400)

Saw this auction on Ebay last night - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

for a Motion Computing M1400 Tablet PC which retails at least AUD $2,500.

This guy reckons he has 3 units and want to sell them for USD$500 each and FREE UPS Intl' Express Shipment.

This is his reply to some of my questions:

Thanks so much for your prompt attention, which make's me feel very delighted to do this transaction with you.

I will like to sell for US$500.00 .with shipping cost included . The item will be shipped via UPS Next Dai Air and you will
receive the product in max 2 days. ( after tracking number is provided , for shipping confirmation )

The product is brand new , in the original box,with original accessories ( CD's , Cables , manuals ) with all papers inside
and international warranty! . The package also includes original receipts and warraty papers.More pictures can be provided !

The name of the sender is Buzatu Andreea Mariana - sounds like a black dude's name in Nigeria - lol

Why won't these ppl learn

I'm quite amazed how these days they just buy $0.01 auctions to rank up their credibility rating. But with such a dodgy reply as the above - who will fall for that?

Which people, the scammers or the idiots that get scammed?

The scammers will be around as long as there are people who are stupid, which will be always.

Scamming is nothing new - google "Ponzi". He didn't need any high-tech to rip people off.

Ponzi? I just did a search and came up with many varied sites, i clicked on the first one and read up about a gentleman that used the currency exchange to his advantage.. Is that what you where reffering to?
