Think you are out of luck. Looking on the AQIS site I find this:
http://www.aqis.gov.au/icon32/asp/ex...sionID=1780653 Condition C9108 AQIS Live Animal Imports facilitates the import of animals and reproductive material into Australia. AQIS does this by applying import conditions that are determined by Biosecurity Australia. Biosecurity Australia has not developed import conditions for this animal and as such AQIS cannot facilitate your import. Which I think is bureaucrat speak saying they are not allowed to be imported

Yeah, not allowed them locally because if they got into the wild they'd probably LOVE the climate.
