Default New System...Opinions wanted

Hi all, new to this. I am building a new system and would like to hear form all if they have any comments on the below listed system. Budget is $1000.00 for hardware. I will be running Windows XP SP2 Home Edition.

CPU. Intel Pentium D 945, Dual-Core 800FSB 3.4GHz, S775
Mother Brd. Gigabyte S775, GA-945GM-S2, VGA/PCIex16/DDR2/SATA2/G-Lan/8ch-S
Memory. A-DATA DDR2-667 PC5300 1GB
Hard Drive. Western Digital, 160GB 24/7 7200RPM 16MB SATA II RAID HDD WD1600YS
Case and Pwr Supply. CoolerMaster Alum front ATX, Centurion S/B, 430w
Dvd Burner. ASUS DVD Burner DRW-1608P3S, Black, 16X DVD±R/8X DVD+RW/6X DVD-RW/8X DVD±R(DL)/5X DVD-RAM

Cost $972.00 ( No software )

If anyone has any surgestions or could offer any advice regarding other Hardware it would be most appreciated. thx
