Default Tv Tech Advice Needed

Not sure whether there are any tv techs on here. Fingers crossed.

Would like a bit of advice/info before calling one in to fix my Samsung SP43W6HF rear projection tv.

Turned it on last night and got a convergence problem. Red is out of whack.

Hopefully someone can give me an idea of what component is faulty and whether it's worth repairing.

A lot of RTPV's use STK chips to control the dynamic convergence. - It looks like one of yours may have failed.

Sorry I can't help anymore

You could try your luck here:
http://www.forums.hcsd.com.au/
It's a forum predominantly inhabited by service techs.
Cheers
