Default DON'T USE LOGITECH SCREEN SHIELDS...

Just a word of warning....if your planing on getting those crystal covers from logitech, the ones that clip on and cover the screen...DON'T!

After taking mine off, my psp is COVERED in scratches...on the edges of where the protector was sitting on.. also, there must've been like...one grain of sand or dust under the cover....and made a deep scratch about 4-5mm long. ..hope i explained it proplerly.

Anybody no how to get rid of it? All i can think of is when i was in grade 8-10 all those years ago! In manual arts, there was this buffing machine and this polishing bar or somthing... any other options? I've tried Brasso...only made a SLIGHT difference.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, Logitech is a good brand...but just not this particular product.

You serious? err,.. wait. You sure its the same thing as mine? My hard case is good...its just the screen shield that caused all the problem.

i guess i thought it would 'protect' and 'shield' my screen....but it just scratched it up...would have been better without it.

Prefer the light surface scratches....rather than the deep ones this 'protector' caused....

Are you 100% sure the protector caused it? There was probably a bit of dirt or something on the screen when you fitted it, and hence, with the handling of the device, the dirt moves around and scratches the screen. Hardly the products fault.

The edges of the protector also scratch it up...but no so badly. You can see where the edge of the protector was sitting...im not stoping anyone from using it...just warning them of what happen to mine...I think its because when i put the psp into the soft case, then into my pocket, it rubs on the surface continually....

There's nothing to cushion the hard plastic against the PSP. Ofcourse it would scratch. Plastic against plastic here. What it needs is one of those clear rubbery surface so it's not hard surface on hard surface.

as for fixes..

Glasses repair kits?
CD repair kits?

Otherwise pretty much any clear polish should fix it up, wipe it on and buff it off with a dry cloth

You'd think the screen protectors would come with rubber padding around the outsides or something, manufacturers are getting so lazy these days >.>
