Default Lunch/Dinner @ Sydney CBD

hey guys
Just getting bored of the ocassional lunch @ food courts around pitt st mall and stuff. Any recommend good places to have lunch around the sydney cbd?
Also dinner too?
bang for buck value and a good meal with the gf or just friends
I work @ the ct and usually there and get tired of chinese around chinatown and lunches @ food courts
anything italian, asian, or any others are fine

list your recommedations n locations. thanks!

theres a japanese shop along Pitt St which isnt too bad, pretty cheap aswell. Sakura is the name if i remember correctly

bang for you buck in sydney CBD ain't that easy to find, its mainly in china town or market city.

Market city for some laksa or similar normally goes down pretty well. Pubs could work also or something around the entertainment centre?

Walk down to Stanley Street East Sydney - Bill and Tony's, or any one of the places along the street around Crown and Stanley
Jump on the train to Kings Cross and go to Darlinghurst RD to Tropicana for good cheap food and people watching

haha yeah market ct for some laksa and noodles
always have it down there . getting sick of that hehe
but dont mind once a in while

sussex st food court for a nice and cheap bowl of pho (vietnamese noodles at $6.50! ) or quick porkroll snack for $3.50

very cheap pho! been there for years
last time i was there, the shop was closed for renovations
i guess its up and running again !
