Third party publishers such as Activision, who want their entire lineup to be available in large quantities and as soon as possible, have been forced to delay their games. Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam will now make its debut on December 13, while Marvel: Ultimate Alliance won't be out until December 20. Both were available on day one in North America, and leave Activison's Australian lineup to include only Call of Duty 3.

There's 2 reasons I'm getting a Wii: Zelda, and the promise of a future Donkey Kong platform game.

Although I'll have bursts of fun playing Wii Sports, Excitetruck and Raving Rabbits, Nintendo's big name franchise's are where it's at.

I initially only got Wii Sports thinking I could hold out until after christmas for zelda. Perhaps not though, as I'm thinking about grabbing it on my way home from work today.

I wonder if stores will start to demo games. How would they have a demo setup so that people could use the remote, not hit anything/anyone, and still have them firmly attached so that demo's can be played without constant surveillance by staff?

Hmm, perhaps supervised sessnions (Ie have to go and ask),
Maybe a sortof deposit (just say $5 cash) that you would get back.
Or maybe they can just have a generous-length cord through the same spot as the wrist strap, which secures the remote down so it can't be nicked..
