Anyone been playing with the virtual console much? So far I have downloaded:

NES
Donkey Kong - Heh, fun.
Mario - Heh, not fun.
Wario's Woods - Uhh, I was a bit confused at the start but its pretty cool
Zelda - Pretty decent, nothing like the N64 Zelda that bored the shit out of me

SNES
Donkey Kong Country

Megadrive
Golden Axe
Echo the Dolphin

Nintendo 64
Mario 64 - Not exactly what I was expecting, but its ok.

Descriptions are on the ones I'd never played before! Virtual Console is awesome, and anyone who says otherwise 'blah blah you can download the ROMs for free blah' it saves me the trouble of lugging a PC out to the living room, finding a gamepad (not so many good ones out there for the PC nowadays!) and playing it - i'm glad to pay the money!

In the Wii Play minigame? Fish for the ones that arn't the ones that give you negative points. And don't jerk the 'rod' around like a retard, pretend you're actually fishing and slowly move the bait past the fish, letting them nibble on it before they bite, ect.

you need 2 fish to get the cat moving
it took me AGES to figure out the fishing but here is how its done

just cast ya rod anywhere in the water
Wait until the float thing starts to sink ... when the GREEN part hits the water line just put up on the rod and put it near near your head and hold it there it will go "FISH ON" and just keep holding it up ... and it will real in the fish ...

Its important as soon as the green bit in on there to yank it up ... it doesn't matter if there is fish around ... i am up to the middle of the forest so far.
It doesnt look so good without component cables , gave me a headache from being a bit blurry lol , used to 360 high def sharpness

There are 3 parts to that map, the first major part with like 8 or 10 then a shortish tunnel and the second major part. Have you checked out all of the zones?

If this is the first Light bug hunt, the last two are underground somewhere and you need to dig them out. Another two are inside a guys house but to get them out you need to talk to the guy's spirit, then they come out. Other than that those ones, you should be able to find all of them on your mini-map.

Just got Legend of Zelda and Donkey Kong off the Virtual Console. Should be fun (you'd hope so, for $7.50 each)

My boyfriend has bought Rayman, and it's funny. Too many rabbits!! They dance! And look freaky!

Yo press 1 and it'll come up with a bigger map, you should be able to find out at least in which general area they are.

Need Zelda help in fire dungeon, possible bug?
Spoiler below, highlight to read:
OK in fire dungeon, is there anyway to re-equip shield if it breaks due to fire? The floating thing tells me to but I can't work out how because I push + and it isn't there.

EDIT: OK just got oocoolo but can't get out of their base to buy metal shield?
