Default wii hardwired network plug?

Hi
We got a wii for xmas!
Will a generic usb to rj 45 plug work?
Or would I have to wait for the nintendo one to become available?
Or will a generic usb wireless access point do the trick good enough?
I dont mind hard wiring if its going to be much more reliable.
Any help much apppreciated

This should be fine, just have it in your computer and bridge it and your internet connection.

Though my experience is limited. I't probably best to ask in the Wii Tech discussion.thread in the console forum.
