Default Xbox 360 Networking Help

Hey, When i go and check my xbox connection on the xbox dashboard, it goes everything is connected then it says my NAT is morderate. I have no idea what NAT is or what its got to do with. I have a very fast internet connection and when i play online i get disconnected sometimes while im playing a game. Does it have something to do with my router? Does anyone know how to fix it.

THankyou.
