Default Acer Extensa Notebook keyboard removal ?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to remove a keyboard in an Acer Extensa 2350 notebook ?

I have a new keyboard to install, but it looks like I have to take the entire front fascia/wrist rest section out ?

Does anyone know ?

Thanks

Not familiar with that model, but usually it's:

-Take off the top panel above the keyboard.
-Undo screws holding in top of keyboard
-Unhook ribbon cable
-"hinge" the keyboard towards you.

Most laptops I've done are like that - the bottom is held in by tabs that come out when you lift the top of the keyboard.

Can't work out how to remove the top section as its held there pretty firmly....
...plus its a friends notebook and I am a bit worried about snapping plastic tabs. etc

Might have to take it to an acer service agent
